On the topic of generosity...

Studio Kane would like to
have a word with you.

SUPPORT THE WORK
STAND WITH THE STUDIO

Why Donations Matter — Even When Things Look Successful

We're not here to trick you with pity.

Studio Kane chose independence on purpose.

And with that choice came a clear understanding:

The animated adaptation of our flagship series can only reach the screen through the genuine
support of the people who believe in it. And yes, that's risky.

That said, you are not obligated to give us your money.
And we will never frame our survival as your responsibility.

So instead of asking blindly, here’s exactly what optional financial support does and does not mean to us.
From there, the decision is entirely yours.

What donations will do:

  • Advance our proprietary production pipeline.
Donations allow Studio Kane to push the technical and artistic limits of our in-house workflow, giving us room to refine how performance, lighting, texture, and motion interact on screen. This ensures the final animation not only meets the emotional and visual standards audiences expect from OUTLIER, but meaningfully surpasses them wherever additional funds allow.

  • Increase production flexibility and timeline stability.
Additional resources help us absorb bottlenecks before they become delays, allowing the studio to honor release
windows responsibly rather than rushing or compromising work to meet them. This flexibility protects both quality and
    the people producing it.

  • Elevate on-screen execution beyond our original scope.
Donations give us the freedom to further develop complex action choreography, subtle performance animation, and emotionally driven visual effects — especially in moments that benefit from additional passes, refinement, or experimentation. These enhancements are not about spectacle for spectacle's sake, but about letting key scenes
fully breathe under the meticulous care of human artistry.

Our standards are already high.
But with fan support, we can raise them even higher.

What donations will not do:

  • Fund fair pay for artists or voice actors.
That responsibility is non-negotiable and already contractually guaranteed at above-industry standards, with qualifying royalties and bonuses for cast and crew upheld as a baseline practice. We do not ask fans to subsidize ethical obligations
we have chosen to shoulder ourselves.

  • Determine our labor ethics or production philosophy.
Studio Kane operates on a human-first pipeline led by an animator-turned-CEO who knows firsthand the cost of exploitation. Our ethical practices will not change, whether donations are received or not.
Morality ceases to be morality if it bends to financial gain.

  • Compromise story, direction, or creative intent.
If money were our motivator, we would have sold creative rights a long time ago. We didn’t. So let that speak for itself.

  • Disappear into corporate ambiguity.
Studio Kane is solely owned, transparently operated, and accountable to a single name on the paperwork.
Donations go directly into production, not to executive bonuses. You are welcome to hold us to that promise.

If you choose to support us?

Thank you for standing with us.
Together, we continue to prove that independent storytelling can succeed without ever sacrificing care, patience, or integrity.

If you choose not to?

You’re still welcome here.

If Studio Kane ever turns off the mic and puts down the pencil,
let it never be because we betrayed the trust of our team or our fans.
